DAY 1: Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you from O.R.Tambo International Airport to your Sandton Hotel. After you check-in and unwind, you’re free to explore culturally vibrant Sandton. Be sure to visit the life-size statue of Nelson Mandela in the Sandton Square, or dine at any one of the nearby world-class restaurants.

DAY 2: Today, the itinerary is set for a full day of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. First, you’ll escape the bustling metropolis to a must-see Johannesburg attraction, Lion Park. You’ll experience the big cats up close and have the opportunity to pet the cute, cuddly lion cubs. In the afternoon, visit the Cradle of Mankind, a fascinating museum that features hands-on exhibits for patrons of all ages.

DAY 3: A tour of South African wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Apartheid Museum. During your morning tour, explore this important period in South Africa’s history, learn about the heroes who shaped the movement, and examine its lasting cultural impacts.

DAYS 4- 7: Madikwe Game Lodge
Home to 60+ species of mammals, rich biodiversity and serene surrounds, the Madikwe Game Reserve offers an ideal setting for your safari experience. Explore Madikwe – a reserve that’s malaria-free – during early morning and late afternoon game drives in search of the Big 5. Plus, you’ll have plenty of time to relax by the pool, enjoy drinks in the bush, and enjoy relaxing hikes in the lodge’s lush surrounds.

DAY 7: Cape Town
After three tranquil days in the bush, your South African adventure continues with an exploration of Cape Town, the vibrant city on the country’s southern coast. Start your journey with a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain, where you can enjoy the magnificent 360-degree views of the city and bay below. Then, explore Cape Town’s must-see destinations including the Castle of Good Hope, the 17th-century Company’s Garden, and nearby market.

DAY 8:  Cape Town
Spend the day exploring the wild, one-of-a-kind Cape Peninsula. Your journey will follow the coast through the palm-lined streets of Camps Bay, home to rich and famous, before reaching the quaint, picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay. Here, travel by boat to Seal Island, home to a photo-worthy herd of Cape fur seals (for own account) before going on to Cape Point. After lunch, ride the funicular (for own account) to the top for sweeping ocean views. On your return voyage to Cape Town, you’ll stop at Boulders Beach (for own account) for a visit with the snap resident penguin colony.

DAY 9:  Cape Town
The day is yours to explore all Cape Town, the Mother City, has to offer. The city offers something for everyone – from bucket-list items like shark diving, horseback riding on the beach, or whale watching tours, to world-class cultural experiences, incredible foods and shopping.

DAY 10:  Today you will depart back to your country of origin
