Your adventure begins with a soaring cable car ride to the top of the legendary Table Mountain – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World –which overlooks the city below. Sitting 1,089 meters above Cape Town, the summit offers panoramic views of Table Bay, the Atlantic, the surrounding mountains, and the city.

After experiencing the city from above, your journey will take you on an exploration of the bustling metropolis below and its historic past.  Fist, visit the Castle of Good Hope, the country’s oldest colonial-era building that will inspire your sense of wonder. Next, stroll through the tranquil Company’s Garden, a centrally-located park built in the 1600s. As you explore the tree-lined paths, the fragrance of the park’s historic rose garden, street performer melodies, and sounds of artisans selling their wares fill the air.

Next, your trip into Cape Town’s past will take you by several of the city’s iconic structures – including the Parliament Building, City Hall and The Slave Lodge – before ascending to the whimsical Bo-Kaap neighborhood on Signal Hill.  In addition to the neighborhood’s upscale specialty markets, Bo-Kapp is well-known for its postcard-worthy colonial homes that have earned a reputation for their sherbet and pastel colors.
